This free evening presentation is aimed at staff and volunteers working in a rescue kennel environment.
This presentation will be hosted by Scent and Track UK founders Jemma and Claire. Both Jemma and Claire have been involved in rescue for a long time; Jemma previously worked full time in rescue for 7 years, and both are still actively involved with several rescue centres.
As a result, we know rescue centres can be a tough environment for the dogs (and the humans). Scent work and sniffing can have a very positive impact on a dogs mental well-being and can help build confidence and give the dogs an outlet. We hope to give you some fun and easy activities that can be incorporated into kennel life and walk/play sessions.
We know budgets are stretched for all rescues, so this presentation is free to attend, but you will need an email from the rescue you work/volunteer at to confirm your involvement.
