Are you a dog trainer or canine professional using tracking or trailing in your day-to-day?
Our Tracking Clinic allows you the opportunity to get advice, troubleshoot any challenges, or gain fresh insights from our experienced, knowledgeable trainers, Claire (international IGP competitor and head instructor of our TrackStar Pro scheme) and Jemma (head instructor of our TrackStar tracking and trailing scheme).
As a clinic format, the day will be flexible based on what you bring to the table; Claire and Jemma are available to help guide and troubleshoot anything you’d like to support within your own training programmes. Whether you’re using tracking and trailing for companion dog training, as part of behavioural consultations, or actively training clients for competitive tracking/trailing (in any organisation), we can help develop your skillset. Through the day, we can cover different styles of tracking (including article indication and more technical footstep/dog sport tracking), look at different challenges that might be encountered in training, or address common training problems at a variety of skill levels, and there will be ample opportunity for discussing theory aspects and answering questions.
All attendees will have an opportunity to work their dog, and can observe throughout. Dogs should be comfortable being left in your vehicle when not working.
This clinic is open to anyone training tracking or trailing based activities, regardless of organisation affiliation.
