Scent & Track UK CAMP

Our Scent & Track UK Camp and Scent Events run across three days, all packed with tons of practical training and theory from our experienced Scent & Track UK trainers. We keep participant places limited to ensure everyone can make the most of their time and have a well-rounded training experience; spaces tend to fill up fast!

Venues vary as we expand across the UK; our initial Scent & Track UK Camp was based at our multi-acre training field and multiple other dog-friendly venues just 15mins apart in beautiful rural Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Our 2026 Scent Event was hosted at the historic Chillingham Castle set in the beautiful countryside of Northumberland, North Yorkshire.

Scent & Track UK Camp and Scent Events are suitable for any level of experience and any age of dog. All training will be tailored to you and your dog’s training journey, whether you’re just starting out or have previously established training and skills!

2026

Hosted in conjunction with Positively Canine, we ran a multi-day Scent Event during March 2026 at the spectacular, Grade 1 Listed Chillingham Castle in Northumberland, North Yorkshire (chillingham-castle.com)

Lead by three experience trainers, Jo, Jemma, and Claire, our Scent Event involved a wonderful group of handlers, dogs, and spectators at this historic fortress for three days of scent detection in some very novel environments, tracking across varied rural terrain, scent theory sessions and discussions, as well as an introduction to Lost Dog Tracking.

The Chillingham Castle Scent Event 2026 was kindly sponsored by Skinner’s (skinners.co.uk), Pet Remedy (petremedy.co.uk), and Non-Stop Dogwear (nonstopdogwear.com).

2024

Our second S&T UK Camp event was held in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. We had an expanded number of handlers, dogs, and spectators join us for three days in July 2024; some returning from 2023, as well as some new faces! All involved had a fantastic time with superb progress made across the weekend by all dogs and handlers, and we had fantastic feedback to build on for the future.

Training over the weekend featured scent detection workshops, tracking workshops, evening theory talks and discussions, social spaces, and a very special Manhunt event. We were excited to host Guest Trainers for additional theory and practical training; Kat Janczur from Canine Detection Solutions, Zoe Hindle from Fit-Pet Physio, and Leanne Szostak from North K9, as well as a fantastic presentation from KONG.

Huge thank you once again to Kelsey of Pooch & Ponies Photography for taking photos of 2024 Camp.

2023

Our inaugural S&T UK Camp event was held in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, across three days in July 2023, with a phenomenal response from attendees. We had a wonderful mix of dogs, all at different ages and different levels of training, and we were thrilled with the progress everybody made over the weekend.

Training over the weekend featured scent detection workshops, tracking workshops, evening theory talks and discussions, social spaces, and a very special Manhunt event!

Huge thank you to Kelsey of Pooch & Ponies Photography for taking wonderful pictures of this event.

– Ruth, Gin & Tia

It’s such a great fun way of strengthening the bond with your dog and discovering how your dog thinks about the world around them, I will certainly be back again!

– Lisa

I enjoy all kinds of scentwork with my dogs but it’s a pleasure to train with instructors that have the skills and knowledge to problem solve and help me get the best from my dogs.
